Mark Castellino
Head of VertebraeVentures
An innovator and creative strategist, Mark started his career at one of the leading media branding companies, Lambie Nairn in London. With a couple of his colleagues he spread his wings to create the design consultancy, Hallmark Design. Clients included several UK government agencies, as well as BBC, Boots, Discovery Channel, HSBC and Marks & Spencer. He won an award for his work promoting Dualit.
His dubious claim to fame is that he designed The Week magazine and the Express Dairies milk carton.
Mark moved to Los Angeles in 2005 and created the online antiques and design marketplace Fyndes in 2008. It was voted one of the best online vintage shopping sites by The Los Angeles Times. He also launched fyndesters.com in April 2012 as a place for people to express their style through their unique possessions.
Like the vintage things he loves best, Mark's strategic skills get more interesting with age. |
